1CE are Superheroes!

As our Memorable Experience for our new topic – Superheroes – year 1 had a Superhero day on Friday.  The children made their own Superhero costumes at home and wore them to school.  All of the costumes were absolutely fantastic and thank you for all of your hard work.  We had Paint Girl, Flower Power Girl, Flame Boy, Tool Boy, Flood Man, Green Lantern, Flash Jordan and many more fantastic ideas.

As part of the day we had a cinema experience in the hall with tickets which were collected on entry and snack tickets.  We watched the film ‘The Incredibles.’  We will also be studying this as a text over the next few weeks.
